Ananya Mishra is a Ph.D. scholar in English Literature in the School of Liberal Studies at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Her research focuses on plant humanities, history of ideas, popular culture, and the intersections of memory and space. Her current project examines plant sentience, vegetal responsiveness, and interplant communication, and reflects on how these perspectives reshape literary and ethical imaginaries.
